HONOR 121 : FIRST YEAR INTERDISCIPLINARY SEMINAR II
In two hour bi-weekly seminars students will discuss ideas central to civilization using a Great Books approach. Students read seminal ideas that have stood the test of time prior to seminars and actively participate by listening, thinking, speaking.
- Students will summarize the core themes of the course using both spoken and written language.
- Students will apply a core theme to a topic from a general education course to explore the significance of that topic in contemporary culture.
