Prerequisites

P in MATH 98 or MATH& 148 or equivalent

Students who successfully complete this class should be able to:

  1. Demonstrate the use of function notation and terminology.
  2. Perform function arithmetic and composition.
  3. Analyze the graphical behavior of functions, including transformations.
  4. Find real and complex zeros of polynomials.
  5. Evaluate, graph, and identify important properties of linear, piecewise, quadratic, polynomial, rational, inverse, exponential, and logarithmic functions.
