NATR 225: Natural Resources GIS II

This class will introduce students into the world of ESRI's ArcPro GIS software. This course will build on what students developed in NATR 180 and focus on spatial analysis and geo-processing tools, professional presentation of data, and familiarity with data organization in ArcPro. Students will learn how to apply these tools to a variety of natural resource projects. This class may include students from multiple sections.

Prerequisites

Completion of NATR 180

  1. Organize, find, and manipulate data management in ArcPro.
  2. Identify the appropriate spatial analysis or geo-processing tool for a given situation and execute that function.
  3. Create and present geo-spatial data in a clear and organized manner.
  4. Think critically and use knowledge and skills developed in this course to address real world natural resource issues.
