Teacher candidates invest approximately 2 days a week in the field applying principles of sound formative and summative assessment using grade level expectations and best grading practices, and individual education plans as tools. This class may include students from multiple sections.

Course Outcomes
- Demonstrate professional Conduct.
- Successfully complete one observation cycle with a lesson (co-) designed with a peer or mentor and (co-)taught in a field-based classroom, focused on assessment methods and results.
- Identify and reflect on elements of quality, equitable assessment connected to planning and instruction and student learning.
