This course focuses on the managerial use of organizational information systems to support decision making and achieve strategic objectives. Students evaluate data storage structures and database solutions, analyze organizational data needs using established decision‑making frameworks, and apply systematic data analysis processes to transform data into actionable information. Emphasis is placed on the managerial design and evaluation of decision support systems, effective communication of analytical results through reports and dashboards, and assessing the alignment between information systems and organizational strategy. This class may include students from multiple sections.
